rai self-update
Update the rai and rai-mcp-pipeline packages to the latest published release.
Do not run this on a 3.1.0 release candidate
On every 3.1.0 release candidate, this command deletes ~/.local/bin and
everything in it, and removes its own backup in the same operation. If
rai self-upgrade --help reports no such command, you are on an affected
build — upgrade with the installer instead, per
route B of the upgrade guide.
Work in progress
rai self-update is under active improvement. It works correctly in the
standard case, but you may encounter rough edges. Proceed with caution and
keep a manual backup of your rai installation if you rely on a specific
version.
Usage¶
No flags — always updates to the latest version. For version-pinned updates or combined package + project upgrades, use rai self-upgrade.
